IMPORTANT: Unrecoverable Mistakes to avoid!

I want you to pay attention to this section before you go mess with the settings. Yes, it is possible to have multiple accounts, developers allow it. However, they each need to be bound to a separate Google Play account or other type of account. Miss this step and you will not be able to restore your account. I have seen a lot of messages of players complaining that they have lost their accounts, simply because they skipped the binding step.

How to bind your account

Either head to the Gift Center by opening the Profile options (click on your profile image in the top left corner) or by clicking the Facebook button and heading to the Bind tab. If you do not see the Facebook button, click on the downward looking arrow under the time in the top right corner. It will reveal more options.

Select one of the account type (Google, Facebook or Email) and follow the instructions that will pop up. Binding your account will reward you 1k gems, 10 5-min speed ups, 14 skill coupons. You can also access the Binding process from your profile menu by clicking on the “Link Account” button.

How to switch accounts

Again, only attempts switching once you have bound the account you are coming from!! I think, the first time you attempt they will warn you that you will lose your account, but just to be sure, make sure to refer to the previous section.

Click on your profile image, then again the profile image above your user name. In the profile menu that opens, select “Switch Account”. A “Log In” pop window will appear with a dropdown selection button.

If it is your first time or if you want to create a new account, select “Log in to a different account” and select one of your accounts that has not yet been used with the game. An unbinded account will create a new game for you.

If you want to switch account after binding multiple accounts to separate emails, open the dropdown menu and select one of the accounts. It does not easily let you know which account is what (it uses a series of digits to identify each account, if you need to remember, write it down), but it informs you on when was one of the account last accessed (in number of days). Then click “Enter the game”, it will redirect you to that account. It will stay on that account until you switch back. To switch back, repeat the process and select the other account you want to access.

Some things to consider: switching server!

Be aware that new accounts will open on newer servers and that items or subscriptions purchased on one account will not transfer to other accounts. Switching server will reset your character to lvl 1 (I have done the mistake), basically restarting the game on that account (and you will have to go through the tutorial again until you can get access to the profile options and switch back). If you really want to switch server, you can switch to a server that still has spots by selecting the “Select Server” in your profile options.

Why having multiple accounts?

Having something else to do

As you will soon realize, the further you get into the game the more time each step and upgrade will take. I am currently waiting for Lamp upgrade 24 to finish and it will take a total of 84h! That over 3 days sitting duck! I could use speedups, but with the Tech Rush around the corner, I will need a bunch already.

Having a second account lets you rediscover the fast fun of this game, pushing through levels and upgrades, maybe restarting at the same level of other players, but with more experience.

Experimenting between classes and builds

You can easily switch class by paying 4,000 gems to try something else. However, experimenting gets harder and harder the higher the quality gear you reach. You will need to get a whole new gear set that matches your class (e.g. HP, DEF, Counterstrike for a Warrior, see my post on stats and class). And if you have played long enough, you know that getting Supreme and Aurous gear is already difficult.

One solution to this could be to take advantage of preset slots. Instead of selling every unwanted pieces of gears, save them into one of the presets and build a Warrior set (PvP) and another class (Mage or Archer). Once you have the 3 sets unlocked (lvl. 115), you can have one set for each class. You then only need to pay 4k gems every time you want to switch class.

To save gear into a set instead of selling it, follow the following steps:

  1. When the selling window opens, equip what you want to the current set, but do not sell,

  2. Close the selling window by clicking anywhere outside the pop up selling window, the piece of gear will stay on standby until you decide to equip or sell,

  3. Open the preset selection menu (i.e. the button to the right of the lamp displaying a tshirt surrounded by arrows) and click on the Gear Set switch button (i.e. two opposite arrows located on the right side of the window)

  4. Select the other set by clicking on the switch button. If you successfully switched, this set’s status will switch to “Current”.

  5. Close the preset window and click on the gear that is still floating off your lamp.

  6. Equip (or Sell) if it is better (or worse) what you currently have.

  7. Optional: Switch back to your main preset.
