About The Micro Gamer
I go by many names and I love playing games. Most recently, you can call me Shrubbie. I used to play on console, from my Mega Drive 25 years ago, to my PC… and many consoles in between! When I started playing on my phone, I saw potential to play anywhere, anytime. However, I quickly realized how bad and limited the Android Game market can be, especially right now. The Play Store is flooded with copies of the same games. Way too many city builders. And above all, way too many games destroyed by floods of toxic ads. I have made it a life mission to find good games to play! Games I would feel like playing for months, if not years on end!
I have found a few, and one of my new favorites is definitely Idle Tale and its fantastic graphics, soundtrack and perfect mechanic! It is rare to come across a game that feels refreshing and engaging! It just came out. It is still imperfect, but it is a big rough diamond!

If you do not know what to try, here are some of my all time favorites that I have played many months over the past years:
Vampire Survivors (one hell of a gem with huge replayability, also available on PC)
NecroMerger (I used to hate merger games until I came across this one, this developer is also amazing!)
War of Evolution (war city builder with a good old school vibe from Spore),
Ants: the Underground Kingdom (another war city builder that kept me busy for 2-3 years)
Almost a Hero (Idle RPG with a bunch of heroes)
